Public Scorecard

We'd rather show a blank tile than an unverified number. Every figure on this page is checked by someone other than the person who entered it.

Results Chain

We keep every step separate, so nobody mistakes activity for outcome.

  1. Step 1

    Inputs

    Staff, volunteers, partners, funding, space

  2. Step 2

    Activities

    Training, workshops, counseling, cleanups

  3. Step 3

    Outputs

People trained, sessions held, pounds recovered

  4. Step 4

    Short-term outcomes

Credentials earned, jobs started, knowledge gained

  5. Step 5

    Longer-term contribution

Stable work, healthier homes, stronger neighborhoods

Our Method

Our reporting follows a written quantifying guide. These rules apply to every number we publish.

Evidence files are stored privately. Partners and funders can request a one-page summary for any project.

  • Every figure shows its period and its denominator.
  • The person who enters a number is never the person who verifies it.
  • Evidence — scale tickets, sign-in sheets, employer confirmations — is kept privately and reviewed.
  • Historical figures are labelled as historical program reporting.
  • A workshop shows people learned something. It does not prove environmental conditions improved.
  • We never publish participants’ names or stories without written consent.
