How a workforce story that began with sorting and baling is growing into a four-step green-skills pathway.

Our workforce story started with recycling: sorting, baling and recovering materials. That work gave people structure, skills and a paycheck — and showed us how much potential gets overlooked.

Four honest steps

The pathway runs from Recycling & Materials Recovery, to Environmental-Health Education, to Safer-Materials & Technical Skills, to a Green Skills Academy with partner credentials and employer introductions. The first two steps are active; the last two are in development and planned.

Built with employers

We want every module to point toward a real job. That is why we are inviting employers to tell us what their entry-level roles need, and to meet our participants.
